To strengthen the aquaculture sector by fostering collaboration through the creation of a 4helix Cross-border Network between the actors of 4helix aquaculture SMEs from Greece and Italy. This is the main aim of the project 4helixAquaCultureNet officially launched with a dynamic kick-off meeting on 19 September 2025 at the Regional Unit of Preveza, Greece.
The meeting gathered representatives from the Development Agency for South Epirus – Amvrakikos (ETANAM SA), the Preveza Chamber, the Legacoop Puglia, the COISPA Foundation ETS, and the Trihonida Local Authority Development Agency SA. Participants engaged in a full day of strategic discussions, planning sessions, and collaborative exchanges, with the contributions of the JS Coordinator, the Project Officer, and the Communication Officer.
The collaborative spirit that characterized the kick-off event served as a clear demonstration of the partners’ strong, common dedication to enhancing and reinforcing aquaculture sector.
The project by pilot testing and implementing capacity building activities and demonstrations activities, is a very promising approach for quality upgrade and eco-friendly diversification of the aquaculture sector
