The partners of the ARCHILIVES project have gathered in Agrinio, Greece, for the second Project Meeting, an important occasion to review progress and discuss the next steps of the project.
During the two-day meeting, partners exchanged updates and engaged in productive discussions on the project’s technical activities. Among many topics addressed, these were some of the main points of discussion, although the meeting also included updates on all aspects of the project.
The first day focused mainly on the digitisation of archives, an activity currently ongoing within the partnership. Each partner is collecting and preserving their institutional and artistic history, transforming it into digital content that will become accessible to the wider public. Partners also shared updates on the communication activities carried out across the partnership, all working towards the common goal of increasing the visibility of the project and engaging broader audiences.
The second day moved towards the managerial and coordination aspects of the project, including the progress of all the management activities. From Joint Secretariat, Gianfranco Gadaleta (Coordinator) and Chrysa Pierri (Project Officer) joined online and provided important feedback and guidance to the partners in this context, supporting them in the effective implementation of the project.
The meeting also included an in-depth discussion of the pilot actions that all partners will implement in the coming months. On this occasion, Teatro Koreja (the lead beneficiary) presented an insightful overview of this activity. Through the words of its director, Salvatore Tramacere, the presentation offered inspiring perspectives and virtuous examples for the entire partnership, providing useful input for the development of the pilot actions.
Overall, the two days proved to be extremely fruitful, highlighting once again the value of meeting in person. Bringing partners together in the same room created a dynamic environment for dialogue, collaboration, and shared reflection, strengthening the partnership and reinforcing the collective commitment to the success of the project.
