The project Biochain was featured at the event “Towards the Basilicata Medicinal and Aromatic Plants District: operational phase”, held at the premises of the Basilicata Regional Department of Agriculture and Forestry last January 29th in Potenza.
Moderated by Michele Blasi, Director of the Lucanian Agency for Agricultural Development and Innovation (ALSIA) – one of the Italian partners of the BIOCHAIN project – the event brought together institutional representatives, experts and stakeholders to discuss concrete steps for strengthening the regional Medicinal and Aromatic Plants value chain.
An important moment of dialogue and coordination closely connected to the objectives of the BIOCHAIN project. In this context, BIOCHAIN emerged as a key reference framework for fostering structured, collaborative and cross-border approaches to territorial development. The meeting confirmed the strong alignment between the Basilicata MAP District’s operational pathway and BIOCHAIN’s activities, reinforcing the project’s role as a catalyst for cooperation, innovation and long-term territorial development within the Programme area.
