Legacoop Puglia, partner of our 4HelixAquaCultureNet project, took part in the second info day “Fishing Tourism Sector”, held in Lecce and promoted by the University of Salento within the Blueslinks project, funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme.
During the session dedicated to funding opportunities and cooperation experiences, Elisabetta Iacobbe, project communication manager, presented the 4HelixAquaCultureNet project as a cross-border cooperation initiative supporting innovation and sustainability in aquaculture.
The meeting offered a valuable opportunity to connect territories, skills and European cooperation programmes, fostering dialogue between fishing tourism and innovative aquaculture. It also highlighted how Interreg projects can build alliances among businesses, research, institutions and local communities, promoting shared knowledge and more sustainable and resilient development models for the blue economy.
