The third OSI of Interreg Greece-Italy has been launched. The BLUE TECH project was officially kicked off on 18 March in Bari during an official conference, hosted at the Regional Library Hub (former Caserma Rossani). The event brought together institutions and key stakeholders to discuss innovation and cooperation in the Blue Economy across Italy and Greece.
Opening remarks were delivered by Luisa Torsi (ARTI President), Eugenio Di Sciascio (Regional Minister for Economic Development and Labour, Puglia Region), and Gianfranco Gadaleta (Joint Secretariat Coordinator of the Interreg Greece-Italy Programme). The project was then introduced by Carlo Gadaleta Caldarola (ARTI), outlining its objectives, activities and expected impact.
The conference also featured thematic discussions on innovation ecosystems, sustainable development and emerging technologies, highlighting the strategic role of cross-border cooperation in strengthening SMEs and unlocking the potential of the Blue Economy in the Adriatic-Ionian area.
