Bringing the strategic project into its next phase, BLUE TECH partners met in Patras on 16 July for the project’s Steering Committee Meeting, hosted by the Economic Chamber of Greece.
The meeting brought together project partners, along with representatives of the Joint Secretariat and the Managing Authorityof the Interreg Greece–Italy Programme, to review progress, discuss ongoing activities and define the next steps of implementation.
Discussions focused on stakeholder engagement activities and the development of the seven pilot actions that will be implemented across Greece and Italy. Partners shared the first results of the stakeholder mapping process, discussed the methodology for engaging the quadruple helix ecosystem, and explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation and maximise the cross-border impact of the pilot actions.
The meeting represented an important step in consolidating the BLUE TECH partnership and moving from planning to implementation, ensuring that project activities are aligned with territorial needs and contribute to building a stronger innovation ecosystem for the Blue Economy.
