Cohesion Policy and territorial cooperation. Which opportunies for youth?
An event to meet the students of the University of Bari Aldo Moro will be held on 24th march 2026 in the court yard from 10.00 to 13.00. The title “Cohesion policy: first steps in the Interreg world” captures the essences of of all the topics that will be addressed: how cohesion policy impacts the daily lives of young people, how Interreg programmes invest in growth and jobs and what is the role of young people in promoting cooperation between European regions.
During the event, promoted by the Interreg VI-A Greece-Italy Programme and organised with the contribution of the Interreg Volunteer Youth Programme, the students will be engaged in activities as interactive quiz, direct interviews and short videos to encourage dialogue and collect their perspectives on the future of European integration.
In particular, the event will present initiatives tailor made for young undergraduates and graduates in the world of European territorial cooperation, as volunteering experiences within Interreg Programmes and projects across Europe. The students could meet in person and listen to first-hand accounts the experiences of Interreg Reporters.
The event will be open by the official welcome of the coordinator of Greece-Italy Programme JS, Gianfranco Gadaleta, and of the Tourism and Promotion Minister of Apulia Region (where JS is based), Graziamaria Starace.
