“Cohesion policy: spin the wheel, win a gift!” – Patras, 9th October 2026

What if we turn Cohesion Policy into an interactive game?

This is the idea behind “Cohesion Policy: spin the wheel, win a gift!”, an activity promoted by the Interreg VI-A Greece-Italy Programme with the support of the IVY reporter, Miriam Semeraro, to meet students at the University of Patras and introduce them to the opportunities offered by Interreg.

The event will be held on 9 October 2026, from 10 to 14, at the Peace Park of the University of Patras, as part of the Welcome to UP! Festival, organised by the University of Patras to welcome new students with a series of activities taking place from 6 to 10 October.

The Programme will join the students’ fair village with a range of engaging activities, including a wheel of fortune with interactive quizzes, short interviews and videos, encouraging dialogue and giving students the opportunity to share their perspectives on the future of European integration.

In particular, the event will present tailor-made initiatives for young undergraduates and graduates in the field of European territorial cooperation, including volunteering experiences with Interreg Programmes and projects across Europe. The students could meet in person and listen to first-hand accounts the experiences of Interreg Reporters.

The event will open with an official welcome from Konstantinos C. Giotopoulos (University of Patras) and the institutional greetings from Maria Nezeriti (Managing Authority) and Gianfranco Gadaleta (Joint Secreteriat).
