Drones take action within the Air4HEALTH project, through a joint initiative of the Region of Western Greece and the 6th Health Region, bringing innovation closer to real healthcare needs. During the recent activity in Patras, the use of UAV technology for the delivery of medical supplies was presented, showcasing practical solutions for timely and secure response, especially in emergency situations.
The initiative gathered key stakeholders, including regional authorities, healthcare representatives, civil protection services, and academic experts, who actively exchanged insights and proposed impactful applications tailored to real operational needs.
With the active participation of the lead partner, the University of Patras, Air4HEALTH continues to test and refine advanced, technology-driven approaches. By moving from concept to real-world implementation, the project strengthens healthcare resilience and demonstrates how innovation can deliver tangible value where it matters most.
