On October 6 and 7, 2025, the kick-off meeting of the PR.O.GR.E.S.S. project took place at the Civic Museum of Bari, marking the official launch of this Interreg Greece-Italy 2021/2027 initiative.
Hosted by the Lead Beneficiary, Mestieri Puglia Consortium, the event gathered all Italian and Greek partners to start a shared path toward the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities.
Two days of collaboration outlined common goals, methodologies for research, training, job placement and mentoring models for inclusive enterprises. Alongside project partners, representatives of the Joint Secretariat also participated, presenting the Programme’s implementation and communication rules. PR.O.GR.E.S.S. aims to build a fairer cross-border labour market founded on innovation, cooperation, and shared values across the Adriatic, and the partners are ready to embark on this journey together.
