Clear communication, shared ideas and practical exchange: almost 40 communication officers and consultants joined the second online meeting of the Greece–Italy communication officers network, on 30 July 2026 .
After a quick round of introductions from new participants, the session moved straight into useful topic fors the right management of communication activities in the implementation of projects. A focus on plain language, led by Maristella Mantuano (JS Communication Officer), gave tips about which words are suggested to be used and how to build concise sentences in effective texts,
The session was followed by an interactive groups’ exercises, where participants worked together in implementing and finalizing an example of project news.
The spotlight then shifted to Interreg Cooperation Day 2026, presented by Miriam Semeraro (JS Reporter, Interreg Volunteer Youth), highlighting upcoming opportunities to organize with the Programme a day focused on this european celebration and to boost project visibility and engagement.
Closing the meeting, Vasia Kougia (Achaia Chamber of Commerce) offered a valuable sneak peek at the PR.O.GR.E.S.S. project’s communication approach — from promotional activities to post-event storytelling — giving participants a practical overview of timelines and strategies before and after an event.
