In the framework of HELIX-SMART project, CNA Brindisi hosted a strategic focus group meeting, bringing together key regional innovation stakeholders, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public administrations, academic institutions, research centres and innovation intermediaries.
Held on 12 June at the Chiostro – Polo per l’Innovazione in Brindisi (Italy), the session focused on validating the newly developed GR-IT Innovation Ecosystem Evaluation & Assessment Tool. This digital tool is designed to map the structural framework, performance metrics and digital transition capabilities of innovation ecosystems across the Greece–Italy cross-border area. During the meeting, participants actively reviewed and refined draft questionnaires to ensure they effectively capture the practical needs of local businesses and public authorities.
By fostering direct collaboration among these key actors, the HELIX-SMART project continues to support digital transformation and sustainable growth across the ICT, tourism and blue economy sectors in both countries.
