On 30 January 2026, the Municipality of Corigliano‑Rossano (Calabria Region, Italy), partner of the ANEMOS project under the Interreg VI‑A Greece–Italy 2021–2027 Programme, hosted the local Info-Day to present the initiative to local stakeholders and launch a structured dialogue on port climate resilience.
The event, held at the Castello Ducale di Corigliano Calabro (Sala degli Specchi), brought together representatives of port authorities, public administrations, research institutions and port operators, who were introduced to the project’s objectives, planned activities and expected results. Participants showed strong interest in understanding the scope of ANEMOS and its expected benefits for the local port system, actively engaging in the discussion and seeking clarification on the project’s approach, planned technologies and foreseen pilot actions.
The programme included institutional greetings by local authorities, a session on port infrastructure and integrated climate‑resilience strategies, and a detailed presentation of the ANEMOS project and the role of the Municipality of Corigliano‑Rossano, culminating in the closing remarks of Mayor Flavio Stasi, who underlined how ANEMOS innovations will contribute to strengthening port safety, protecting local jobs and enhancing the strategic position of the area within the wider Ionian–Adriatic cooperation framework.
