When it comes to authenticity and promotion of Mediterranean agri-food products, MeDInno II knows no borders. The 2nd project meeting in Igoumenitsa, held on February 4 2026, provided an important opportunity to review the progress achieved so far, exchange views and coordinate the next steps for the effective implementation of the project.
Representatives from Greece and Italy discussed the key actions of the project, with a focus on enhancing the authenticity and outward orientation of Mediterranean agri-food products, particularly dairy, cheese and meat products. The meeting in Igoumenitsa served as a valuable platform for the exchange of experiences and good practices, contributing to the successful implementation of the project and to the maximisation of benefits for local communities, producers and agri-food stakeholders.
As Medinno II keeps going forward, project partners are now preparing for the 3rd project meeting, which will take place in Bari, Italy, on 9–10 July 2026. During this two-day event, discussions will focus on the technical monitoring and assessment of the project’s implementation progress, including the state of implementation, activities carried out, main outputs, deliverables and results achieved, as well as communication and dissemination activities. The programme will also include the 1st Infoday in Bari, featuring presentations on sustainability, quality and innovation in the dairy sector, along with practical solutions and good practices for farmers and agri-food stakeholders.
