The NATURES awareness campaign in the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve is now halfway through, continuing its journey to bring citizens and visitors closer to the biodiversity of coastal, wetland and marine ecosystems.
Launched in March 2026, the campaign has already involved participants in guided outdoor experiences including trekking, cycling and birdwatching. Through these activities, participants explored dunes, Mediterranean scrub, wetlands and coastal habitats, discovering the ecological value of the Reserve and the importance of protecting priority species and habitats in Natura 2000 sites.
The campaign now continues with further free events designed to combine environmental education, direct experience and sustainable enjoyment of protected areas. Upcoming appointments include Biodiversi-Trek on 24 May and Sea Education & Snorkeling activities on 16 June and 8 July. Look at the official calendar.
Participation is free of charge and booking is mandatory.
