Protection of priority species and natural habitats: NATURES is moving forward in its mission to strengthen cooperation between Italy and Greece.
The second project meeting took place in Camigliatello Silano (Calabria) on 20 May 2026, hosted by Sila National Park, one of the project partners. With the participation of Project Officer Chrysa Pierri, partners reviewed the progress achieved so far, aligned on key priorities and defined the next operational steps.
Following the working sessions, partners visited the Cupone Visitor Centre and the FAI site “I Giganti della Sila e Casino Mollo”, an important natural and cultural landmark within Sila National Park.
The meeting further strengthened cooperation among the partners and confirmed the shared commitment to protecting, promoting and sustainably enhancing the natural heritage of the Greece–Italy area.
