Eight experiential events in Torre Guaceto reserve to promote the conservation of priority species and habitats in Natura 2000 sites.
The awareness campaign foreseen within the framework of the NATURES project is ready to be launched.
The events will take place start on march 8th and will end on july 8th 2026. Designed to engage citizens and visitors directly in the discovery of coastal and wetland biodiversity, the initiative combines environmental education with guided outdoor activities carried out in small groups, ensuring a sustainable and responsible approach to protected areas.
Participants will explore dunes, Mediterranean scrub, wetlands and marine ecosystems through trekking routes, cycling experiences, birdwatching sessions at dusk and sea education activities including snorkeling. Each event offers an opportunity to deepen knowledge of species and habitats of Community interest while strengthening awareness of the ecological value of the Reserve.
Through this awareness campaign, the NATURES project translates its conservation objectives into concrete local actions, fostering community involvement and promoting an integrated approach to biodiversity protection.
