The best practices developed within the Interreg Greece–Italy Programme continue to represent a reference point for territorial cooperation.
Fabio Barresi, Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) of the Programme, presented in Brussels the results of the Interreg FRESH WAYS project, which were also featured in an article published in Stories of Cooperation, magazine of the Interact Programme.
The presentation took place in the framework of a high-level roundtable hosted by Member of the European Parliament Vladimir Prebilic, which brought together representatives of the Interreg community, Members of the European Parliament and officials of the European Commission. The discussion focused on the current state and future perspectives of Interreg and Cohesion Policy.
During the event, particular attention was devoted to the role of younger generations in communicating and raising awareness about the importance and impact of cohesion policies at local level, highlighting the contribution of youth engagement initiatives such as IVY.
The event was organized and supported by Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) and the Interact Programme.
