Interreg Greece-Italy Programme 2021-2027 launches the Pre-announcement of the 6th_A call for Project Proposals S.O. 1.3 – Entrepreneurship.
The main focus shall be on the blue economy. In addition, the proposed actions may include encouragement & creation of clustering, especially of quadruple helix; enabling cross-sectoral cooperation, promotion of local needs through the cross-border partnership, the creation of specifics cross-border job centres among others. The implemented actions shall offer space for knowledge transfer and allow the development of tools, pilot actions as well as joint strategies and action plans in this frame.
More specifically, the Programme is going to fund actions in the following fields (non-exhaustive list):
- Tourism
- Creative and Cultural Industries
- Blue economy, Green economy and Bio-economy
- Industry 4.0, Digital technologies, Key enabling technologies
- Social innovation
- Technology and knowledge transfer
- Novel schemes for financing innovation
- Energy
- Transport
Examples of actions supported (non-exhaustive list):
- Schemes to scale up smart economic transition by enabling cross-sectoral cooperation to help SMEs, other emerging enterprises (start-ups, incubators) and young entrepreneurs in key sectors of the area to increase the level of sustainable growth and competitiveness. Compare and assess.
- Promote cross-border platforms and networks to enhance SMEs modernisation and support their internationalisation through business environment improvements and cooperation.
- Enable the creation of entrepreneurial eco-system, cross-border cluster development, networking and exchange of know-how and good practices.
- Exchange good practices and explore cross-border business support services, especially support business to access finance.
Added value expected in networking and forging cooperation links to expand in further and beyond the programme period, enhancing competitiveness, creating economies of scale, proving and promoting smart solutions.
Expected results from the proposals:
Cooperation actions at cross-border level are expected to result in more strengthened SMEs, other emerging enterprises (start-ups, incubators) and young entrepreneurs in the process of smart economic transformation of the Programme Area in key fields. They will further enable the transfer of good practices and the access of SMEs to finance. It is important to enable the creation of entrepreneurial eco-systems and networks in this frame that may support the creation of smart incubators and start-ups in the Programme area. It is also important to build upon previous experience and capitalise on the results of previous projects reinforcing the existing synergies.
The call has a total budget 2.500.000,00 EUR (EU & National Funds).
The minimum budget of the submitted project proposals is defined as the amount of 800.000,00 €.
The maximum budget of the submitted project proposals is defined as the amount of 1.000.000,00 €.
The minimum budget of the submitted project proposal per project partner is defined as the amount of 120.000€.
The Programme is delighted to inform all the potential beneficiaries that within few days from the today’s pre-announcement, the call for proposals will be launched.
The call preannouncement is addressed to:
- National, regional, or local public bodies,
- Bodies governed by public law,
- Non-profit organisations founded according to private law,
- International Organisations,
- EGTC – European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation.
In principle, to become a project beneficiary, the legal address of the beneficiary’s organization has to be located in the eligible area of the Programme with the exception of:
- organizations located outside the Programme area but having local/regional subsidiary/branch offices established in the Programme area;
- bodies of the central government located outside the Programme area (e.g. Ministries or other governmental authorities with specific competencies on national level);
Associate Partners are not applicable in present call.
Each beneficiary may submit up to 2 Project Proposals IN TOTAL in the context of the 6th Call (PART A and PART B). The above limit applies to all types of Beneficiaries (LB, PB) considered as a unique structure (not as single Units/Departments) and it is applied at 6th Call level (6a/Part A & 6b/Part B)– not at Specific Objective level. In case a potential Beneficiary applies to more than 2 Project Proposals, then the first 2 proposals submitted on MIS, will be assessed.
