The Greece-Italy programme area is strategic for transport and mobility of people and goods. Agriculture, aquaculture, and agri-food are priority sectors, yet the region faces territorial gaps, weak agri-logistics, and poor infrastructure.
Cluster development remains limited, failing to fully leverage advantages in agri-food and logistics. Based on the above, the development of a cross in the emerging sector of regional agri-logistic and innovation ecosystems is a great need for the programme area.
AgriLogistiCluster project aspires to tackle the above common challenges at interregional level and change the current situation in the agri-logistic sector by jointly developing and pilot testing new solutions, such as:
1) A jointly developed Strategy for the modernization of the
agri-logistic sector in the programme Area
2) A jointly designed Action Plan for the development of the "Cross-border Cluster in the Agri-logistic sector.
3) A 4helix "Cross-border cluster in agri
4) A smart e-agrilogistics networking hub
5) A pilot real-time Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool for the agri
logistic SMEs.
6) A user-friendly vehicle routing system designed to manage and optimize routes based on specific Points of Interest (PoIs) across the agri-food supply chain.
The main results that will be delivered by AgriLostiCluster project could be summarized as follows:
• Promoting the clustering in the agri
