Re-water – Eco technologies for the wastewater management is one of the 25 finalists of REGIOSTARS 2025.
Greece-Italy is among the 10 Interreg Programmes to be represented in the final of this great EU award.
What Re-water is about?
Remove from wastewater every trace of drugs, pesticides, hormones that usually escape treatment, and reuse the water to wash streets and irrigate urban gardens. A new technology achieved thanks to the cooperation between Greece and Italy. In Gallipoli the reuse of clean and safe wastewater is now possible by the innovative pilot plant custom-built by Re-Water project in Gallipoli, an historical tourist town in Puglia. A concrete step towards purer waters and a more protected marine environment. Click here to read more about Re-Water.
