The digital platform for sustainable nautical tourism is in development and testing phase. This is the main update news about Argonaut project in the second management board held in Gallipoli on 19 March. The project partners met to discuss the next steps in the project, share strategies and strengthen the cooperation process.
The digital platform is of particular importance, as it will enable not only the launch of the project’s subsequent phases but also the engagement of stakeholders and local actors, who will soon be involved in the project’s communication and engagement campaign.
The day was devoted to reviewing the progress made by each partner, and sharing with the Joint Secretariat the timelines for the implementation of contracts, activities and project expenditure.
The Greek-Italian partnership has demonstrated cohesion and a shared vision in planning the next steps, agreeing to meet again in October for the next management board meeting.
The project, which aims to promote sustainable nautical tourism in Puglia (Italy) and Greece, tackles common challenges by improving the quality of tourism, introducing eco-friendly services, strengthening green skills and enhancing the international reputation of the destinations involved.
