On February 25, 2026, the city of Ioannina became the focal point for cross-border innovation as the consortium gathered for the official kick-off of the OnSea Interreg Greece-Italy strategic project. Hosted in the heart of the Region of Epirus, partners gathered in order to chart a sustainable path for inclusive tourism.
During the session, it was emphasized that the collaboration is not just about policy, but about creating tangible solutions for tourism that will benefit both the Greek and Italian coastlines.
