The organic farm Quattrò in Guardavalle (CZ) has been selected as italian pilot site by the GAL Serre Calabresi, partner of the TAGsTwo project.
Chosen through a public call, the farm includes over 400 olive trees and around 30 citrus trees, providing ideal conditions for field testing.
The project supports the sustainable transition of the agri-food sector by analyzing policies and benchmarking best practices in precision farming, while identifying pilot sites in Italy and Greece.
Advanced technologies—such as sensors, drones, digital tools and AI-based systems—will be installed with CETMA’s technical support.
These will generate data for a Decision Support System (DSS), improving water use, soil monitoring, yield forecasting and plant health, enabling more efficient and sustainable farming practices.
