Two impactful days for the TAGsTwo Project marked significant progress in cross‑border agrifood innovation.
Hosted by CREA in Bari, the activities included an exchange visit to Metaponto, showcasing advanced applications in precision agriculture at the “Dimitra” kiwi production enterprise, as well as a presentation of ALSIA‑AGROBIOS’ state‑of‑the‑art research infrastructure, including its robotic digital phenotyping platform.
A twinning session with the BIOCHAIN project further strengthened collaboration for a sustainable agrifood future.
On 15 May, the project’s first workshop brought together key representatives from the Interreg Greece-Italy Programme and the whole partnership, reaffirming the strategic value of innovation services and cooperation networks. The event was opened by Stelio Campanale, Honorary Consul of the Hellenic Republic in Bari, tha underlined the value of the common history between the two Countries and the current business opportunities.
Partners presented TAGsTwo’s vision, its expected benefits, and the next implementation steps, reinforcing the project’s role in building a smarter and more resilient agrifood ecosystem across Greece and Italy.
