TAGsTwo joined the dialogue on olive farming during the study presentation events organised by the Region of Western Greece on July 15 and 17. The events have been held in Astakos (Aetoloakarnania), Chalandritsa (Achaia), and Krestena (Ilia), under the title “Holistic Approach to the Sustainable Development of Olive Production in Western Greece”.
With his intervention, Professor Pantelis Barouchas highlighted TAGsTwo contribution to the future of Mediterranean olive farming.
The joint presence of the University of Patras and Agrifood West showcased how the initiative connects research with real agricultural needs through digital innovation, knowledge transfer and regional cooperation. By supporting farmers, advisors and local stakeholders, it promotes sustainable practices that enhance resilience, competitiveness and environmental performance.
The event also underlined the key role of cross-regional collaboration in addressing shared challenges and advancing a more sustainable Mediterranean agriculture.
