The Greek partners of the TAGsTwo project presented at the Regional Growth Conference 2026 in Patras a forward-looking vision for innovation and sustainable development in the agri-food sector.
Pantelis Barouchas, Project Coordinator, and Dimitris Tsesmelis (University of Patras), together with Andreas Filias, President of the Agrifood Partnership of Western Greece, presented the project’s strategic direction.
Their intervention underscored that sustainable agri-food growth depends on structured cooperation among academia, industry, and emerging professionals, shaping a more resilient, innovation-driven future through precision agriculture and cross-border synergies.
Engaging directly with a strong youth audience and representatives of businesses and institutions, they emphasized the role of collaboration in unlocking new entrepreneurial pathways and strengthening the agri-food ecosystem. The discussion highlighted how TAGsTwo project builds on prior successes while integrating advanced technologies and knowledge-transfer mechanisms.
An important opportunity of dissemination of the TAGsTwo in addition to the projects’ activities.
