The Kick-off Meeting of the DACC Project took place on 30 October 2025 in Matera (Italy), at the Chamber of Commerce of Basilicata.
Hosted and coordinated by ASSET Basilicata as Lead Partner, the meeting brought together all project partners: the Municipality of Monte Sant’Angelo (Italy), the Chamber of Commerce of Ilia (Greece), and Kapodistriaki Development S.A. (Greece).
Partners gathered to officially launch a joint initiative aimed at enhancing digital innovation in the management and promotion of UNESCO sites in Matera, Monte Sant’Angelo, Olympia, and Corfu, while strengthening cross-border cooperation and promoting the exchange of best practices between Italy and Greece.
Over the next two years, DACC will implement activities focused on training operators and students, analyzing the impact of digitalization, and testing innovative tools to improve the management, accessibility, and sustainability of cultural and tourism services.
The meeting marked the beginning of a shared journey between Italy and Greece, where digital innovation meets cultural heritage to inspire a more connected, inclusive, and sustainable future for the Programme area.
