Strong impact and unique bridge between Greece–Italy and Italy–Slovenia Interreg Programmes at the OSI event in Grado on April 16-17, showcasing the perspective of southern Europe by representatives of the Joint Secretariat and Managing Authority and showcasing the best practice of the ongoing project TAGsTwo, funded in 21-27 programming time.
The JS coordinator, Gianfranco Gadaleta, was speaker at the round table about macro-regional strategies and Interreg to strengthen territorial cooperation after 2027. Nikoletta Tatari, officer at the Managing Authority, spoke at the round-table about the next generation of Interreg to strengthen Cohesion.
Pantelis Barouchas, TAGsTwo Coordinator, compared their own best practices and experience with those of 18 projects from other Interreg programmes, highlighting its role in strengthening European cooperation. The University of Patras presented innovative results on smart agriculture, precision farming, and data-driven sustainability tools. TAGsTwo demonstrated how regional partnerships can connect research, policy, and practice, fostering synergies beyond programme borders and reinforcing interregional collaboration across Europe.
The event of Grado underlined the value of cross-border dialogue, at Programmes’ and Projects’ level, sharing new perspectives and innovation.
