Programme Description
Interreg VI-A Greece-Italy Programme is a European Territorial Cooperation Programme that aims to help public institutions and local stakeholders to develop cross-border projects and pilot actions to create new policy, products and services, with the final goal to improve the citizens’ quality of life.
With a budget of EUR 106 million euro, the programme will enhance innovation for a more competitive and smarter Greece-Italy area, focusing on green and digital growth, promoting clean and fair energy transition, investment in circular economy, improving equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning and enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders to implement macro regional strategies.
The total budget is co-funded by European Regional Development Fund (E.R.D.F.) for 75% (79.582.928,00 ) and 25% of National Funds of Greece and Italy.

Complaints and Reporting of Irregularities
Beneficiaries and any interested party may submit complaints related to potential irregularities, fraud or corruption concerning the implementation of the Interreg “[title]” Programme or projects funded under it.
Complaints may be submitted via the website of the Managing Authority “Interreg 2021-2027”, which is responsible for the management of the Programme, ensuring access to the competent Authority for the examination of such matters.
