I am pleased to convey the strong interest of the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the University of Salento in participating in the project idea “Advances in the wine supply chain”. This expression of interest is presented on behalf of the Research Group of Agricultural and Food Economics, which works on wine research and has the experience of coordinating several research projects in this field. Specifically, the skills of the Research Group concern the analysis and assessment of agrifood and wine system resilience to shocks and the development of innovative decision-making methods and tools based on holistic approaches.
The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Technologies has a longstanding commitment to the wine domain. Our collective experience spans years of research, innovation and practical applications in viticulture, with a specific focus on incorporating smart and innovative solutions.
